But they were right about one thing the day was perfect for playing. I just thought they would rather ride their bikes instead of flooding our yard. As a side note the temperature is around 57 degrees. Not quite sprinkler weather yet.

It is still winter -- right??
I thought that it was still winter but was informed by my children that I was wrong. Apparently since the sun is out it must be summer. We are going to skip right over spring and move on to a bigger and better season. Why not -- they are still too young to understand at this time of the year the sun does not stay around. According to the weather report we will not see sun again until sometime in early March .

Ah the wild carefree fun of kids. To be young again! Looks like a fun day. Summer will be here before you know it.
Great picture and a lot of fun, I'd say (heh-heh)! We've been a little nutty with the awesome arrival of the sun, too! Take care and catch up to you soon!
I would like to see the kids play in the sprinklers here. They would be frozen solid in 5 minutes. Perhaps they would enjoy the thawing out process more. They could roast marshmellows in front of the fireplace while waiting.
Hope you are all having fun.
