Today is my 1st birthday and I am really excited. We have lots of fun things planned. I will go swimming in the pool to cool off. Then some of my friends and cousins will be here to play. After that we will be having cake and ice cream. I can not wait. I often hear my brother and sister talk about cake and I think that I will really like it. My mom is going to get balloons for us to chase and I might even get to open some new toys. This is another thing Ryan and Kate love to discuss. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day. I am sure that my mom will be taking lots of photos to share later.Love

My work (Outlook) reminder was too late to remind me of the big birthday. A card and some cash is on the way. Hope little Jake had a good time. We look forward to all of you coming to Wichita next month.

Hey that's my little big boy. What a handsome noodle he has. I'd say he's a darn fine one-year-old. I can't wait to help rustle him and the rest of ya'lls to Kansas next month. We'll do some lizard chasin', fish catchin', and turtle searchin'. And remember, August on the prairie is hot so we'll need to bring the sunscreen and drink lots of apple juice.
