Review of August

August was a busy month as well. We stayed in Phoenix until the 18th and then we started the trek home. Philip flew down to join be on the drive home which was very nice. The kids really missed him bunches and were excited to see that he found them fun things while he was in China and India. We first drove to Las Vegas and stayed at the Circus Circus Hotel. They had a bunch of games and carnival style activities to do. We were able to meet up with my Aunt and my cousin while we were there as well. Here are a couple photos of Jake making himself at home.


Then it was on to Salt Lake. The kids were so excited to stay an extra day and hang out with their cousins. The only photos I have was when we took all the kids to IHOP. So much fun.
Nothing like having food that requires syrup for dinner. Everyone had something different.



Our next town was Boise, ID and it does not look like we have a photo of that. We were happy to get there and rest. We woke up the next morning and headed home. We spent the rest of August trying to unpack (which I am still doing) and getting the kids organized for school to start. We are looking forward to September and all the new school adventures.
