Mommy hasn't updated her blog in a long time, so I thought I'd update it for her... This is Jacob. I have learned alot about computers since my dad has been training me to take over his job - he said that he's ready to "retire" (whatever that means). I think it means "work in the garage".
We had a great time last weekend. Mommy and Daddy picked a random weekend to stay on the Oregon coast. I tried to convince them that a trip in March to the coast makes as much sense as wearing sandals in December - but they wanted to do something special for us kids for Spring Break '10.
As luck would have it, Saturday was absolutely perfect. 65 degrees, sunny, and a light breeze. Normally you'd expect 45 degrees, rainy and gale force winds (daddy has taught me about weather too). :-)
The beach had alot to offer a young lad such as myself. Here's are the photos of our adventure:
The photo above is a the tallest lighthouse on the Oregon coast. We were playing on the beach at Newport. The sand was so fine it was like powder.
Here's me, Kate & Ryan; we're posing as the Three Musketeers.
I love playing with my trucks in the sand. It was so fun in fact that my brother and sister joined in to help.
It was a great day and only one of us fell face-first into the waves. POOR KATE!
