Kate has been showing off her flare for dressing up and getting ready for Halloween. Both children are overly excited for the holiday even though we have tried to explain that it is many months away. Several suggestions have been given to me about what Ryan and Kate would like to be. Kate wants to be a bee, a cowboy or a pirate. Ryan on the other hand would like to be Yoda, a box, or a Knight (he really wants the armor and the sword). I am voting for the box since that costume would be easy to make.
Kate, like Ryan, is starting to become very good at using the camera. She has taken dozens of pictures of her room, books and animals. Unfortunately she is so close when she takes the pictures they are out of focus. With this one exception to the rule -- the frog actually came out the way she intended.
