I was lucky to find a place where Jacob could sit up a little more while I took this past Friday's photo. He was cooperative at first and then later as I tried for "the" photo he lost interest in hearing his name being called. I feel that the pictures still turned out cute. He is starting to smile when he looks up at you and on Saturday he actually flipped himself over from his belly to his back. I think it is still too early for this to be
consistent but I was impressed with the amount of power he used to accomplish such a feat.

Preschool is quickly approaching for Kate and she is getting excited about painting and singing songs. I hope that her free spirit finds a place at school without driving her teacher crazy. The picture of Kate is the newest addition to our wardrobe. This
latest interest in twirling about the room comes from seeing Barbie do the same thing. She is very much a
girly girl when it comes to all things princess and ballerina. She considers herself both and most days you will find her explaining to anyone who calls the house that she is having a princess party.
Philip will have his hands full as she gets older since he too thinks that she is a princess. We will have to see how his opinion changes when she asks for a pony for her sixth birthday.
