Orientation

When Kate woke up this morning she was an official preschooler. Today is her first day of orientation. She, along with eight other young children will be getting acclimated to their new school environment. When school begins on Sept. 4th she will meet the other 11 students in her class.

She was ready to open the door and head up the stairs just as she has the last two years when we have gone to pick up Ryan. The difference today is that she has a class of her own.

As I was leaving she was at a shelf preparing to get a lesson from her teacher Nina. She chose stringing beads as her first activity. I can not wait to pick her up and see how her day went.
