Presenting Christmas

Ryan had the best time ever this year with Christmas. He was able to see Santa at the mall but was a little sad that he was not able to tell him what he wanted. When he got up to him he could not think quickly enough and then his turn was over. I reminded him that Santa knows and sure enough as he began opening things he was so excited about what he saw.

Kate had a fun time as well. She was not ready to be done opening things and so she helped Jacob open his. She would open stuff and then take it over to him to show him what it was.

Both of the boys received matching sweatshirts. It was wonderful getting the chance to take this photo since Jacob is growing so fast who knows how long he will be able to wear it.

Ryan helped, along with his cousins, to sort the packages under the tree. Now that he is a "reader" he would read us the label on each package with his name on it. He would say "To Ryan, From Grandma" After he opened his gift he would say " No way, that's cool"

Sure enough as the night went on the children were very tired. A lot of activity in one day. Kate just crashed in Grandma's arms amid loud voices, music and all.

I love the pictures. The picture of Kate is absolutely beautiful. It really captures her spirit. She rocks. And look at the joy on Ryan's face. They are just amazing! I'm so glad we got to see you all.
