Jake is exploring new things as he is getting better at sitting up, pulling up, crawling and cruising. He keeps all of us on our toes as he moves about the house. He really likes the big floor lamp to crawl over to and pull his body up. It is a good thing that when he does this it makes a clanging noise against the wall to let us know he is there before he pulls the whole thing over.
I wish I had a photo of the other day when we were all in the kitchen. He crawled to the bench then pulled himself up. So far so good -- this is where he usually stops. However he then reached up and grabbed the table edge with both hands and basically was hanging there like a monkey. That's right his feet were not touching the ground. I could not believe it. It was heart stopping. One of several moments that has only added to the aging process.
